Yvonne Patterson has been a bird keeper since the
age of two. While working as a horticulturist at a popular
Kansas City attraction she began entertaining the public with her
birds' beauty and intelligence. It wasn't long before she
captured media attention by creating a walk-through rainforest
exhibit which she operated for the next ten years.
Yvonne discovered audiences relished both the tricks and behaviors of her birds, as well as the educational information she entwined with the shows. This inspired Yvonne to hone her training skills, further her knowledge of rainforest plants and animals, and better understand symbiotic relationships within our planet. She has visited the tropics numerous times and written articles on her experiences which have been published internationally.
Since 1970 she has bred, researched & presented rare birds creating a connection for all ages at bird-day parties, trade shows, corporate events, luau's, churches, schools, etc. The birds skate, scooter, basketball, bicycle, drive, speak & more.

Our Non Profit Status {We are looking for a grant writer}
WE ARE A 501(c)(3) corp. Our purpose is "For avian education, religious instruction, to teach children the responsibility and care of owning pet birds, the prevention of cruelty to birds in captivity, and tutor through plant seminars the significance of growing and maintaing trees and plants for birds". It's an honor to present birds for cultural arts to inspire children to appreciate nature.
How To Become a Sponsor
In order to provide shows for terminal children, special needs groups, the elderly, or to present our Birds of Faith program to your church, we need help. The birds food, housing, care, veterinary needs, travel expenses & other operating costs are expensive. Your tax deductibledonation of $230 or more would cover the cost of one show and make possibly hundreds of people happy.
